We can do business in three different ways – each option with its unique benefits.
- Outright Sale to The Sporting Shoppe– This approach provides instant cash and peace of mind as the transaction will be completed in minutes after the item(s) are evaluated by our expert buyer based on established current values.
- Consignment Sale – This approach will normally net the most money for your items, but payment is forthcoming only after sales are completed. There is a minimum broker’s fee of $25.00 for a consignment sale.
- Trade-in – The Sporting Shoppe accepts trades toward the purchase of our existing inventory including new firearms. The trade prices are based on established current values. This is a fast and simple way to upgrade your collection.
If you live within driving distance of Richmond, RI, the best approach is to bring your item(s) to our location (see map under “Contact”) so that we can evaluate them quickly and help determine the best option for you.
If an in-person visit to The Sporting Shoppe isn’t immediately practical, please call us at 401-539-4653. We can help you in various ways to simplify the chosen process, from estimating the value of your item(s) via photographic inspection, to providing a shipping box with a convenient pre-addressed UPS call tag. (A UPS call tag sends a representative to your home to pick up your items.)
